Dr. Julie Rengert received her Ph.D. in Educational Psychology from The Ohio State University, receiving her Master’s and Bachelor’s Degrees in Biology from the University of Texas at San Antonio.  She has worked in the field of fitness and health improvement since 1999.  The program she has developed, 5-ALARM Fitness Program, is the culmination of working with clients and applying Social Cognitive Theory to create interactive assignments and self-regulation tools to assist individuals in development of a system for reaching their own goals.  Throughout the program the individual receives specific guidance for goal and plan development to implement behavior change sufficient to change health outcomes.

All funds raised by Turner Institute of Healthy Living are received by United Charitable Programs and become the sole property of UCP which, for internal operating purposes, allocates the funds to the Project. The Program Manager makes recommendations for disbursements which are reviewed by UCP for approval.

Professional Competitions:

Julie Rengert (DJ Wallis) earned her IFBB Professional Card in Fitness in 1999 at the USA Championships in Santa Monica, CA.  She placed 9th place in the Arnold Classic Fitness International 2000, 2nd place at the Jan Tana Pro Figure 2003, 7th place at the Olympia Pro Figure in 2003, and 5th place in the Arnold Classic Figure International 2004.
